At First Baptist Church of Norco, our mission is to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples, and we strive to do this mission through our Children’s Ministry.
Love God – We love God by being obedient to the call to steward children and families by encouraging Proverbs 22:6 within families.
Love People – We love people by intentionally connecting with the children and families within our ministry for the purpose of building relationships to then share the good news of Jesus.
Make Disciples – We make disciples by faithfully studying God’s Word to educate biblical truth to be transformed into application in the lives of children.
Preschool
Birth – Age 5
We love children and their spiritual formation is extremely important to us. Jesus made children a high priority in His ministry and we aim to do the same thing. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and loving environment for our preschoolers to learn about God’s love. Our Preschool ministry is for children from birth to age 5. In our Preschool programs, children learn the Bible through age-appropriate activities like stories, crafts, and Bible action songs that reinforce Bible truths. They are also given the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with their friends and teachers
School Age
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Our goal is to partner with parents to provide the best opportunity for children to learn about God and how much He loves them. Our desire is for children to have fun, engage in worship, connect with friends, and learn the truth about God. We do this through various ministries and programs. We are dedicated to building an incredible place for families and children to learn about God’s love and plan for their lives.
Program Activities
Our desire is to foster an environment that follows our mission to Love God, Love People, and Make Disciples. That environment is done throughout our children’s program activities.
Sunday school – Sundays @ 9:15 AM
Sunday School is important because it provides additional opportunities in the fellowship for learning. This is vital for the physical, emotional, and spiritual development of children.
Worship Wednesdays – Wednesdays @ 6:00 PM
Worship Wednesday is the glue that makes everything and everybody stick together as an effective healthy church. We want to foster an attitude of Worship from our children by loving God, loving people, and making disciples.
